The brand new fleet of stylish midnight blue ClubCar i3’s will certainly be turning heads at Al Badia Golf Club, home of the European Challenge Tour Grand Final, this summer. Not only is the Precedent i3 the first golf cart in the world with built-in connectivity, these carts have also been fitted with the latest Visage RT GPS system, providing the ultimate golfing experience.
Some of the features include a High Bright 10.2” touch screen, convenient Food & Beverage ordering system and instant communication with the clubhouse and on course marshals.
The GPS technology enables the club to control its golf cart fleet from the click of a button and to optimize course maintenance by controlling the access the carts may have during play. From determining the speed to monitoring pace of play, the system promotes technology at its best.
Phil Lewin of GPSI, which makes the Visage system, said: “The purpose of Visage is to benefit both the player and the golf course operator. Visage is the only system that can control the engine of the cart in this way. It can slow it right down, stop it altogether and send messages to the golfer explaining why this is being done. Visage protects the golf course and protects the venue’s assets being stolen or used inappropriately.”
