Armstrong and Guest Claims November Officeland Monthly Open Main Prize
As the weather condition turns into a favorable one bringing out more golfers, the competition greatens at Al Badia Golf Club. A great number of Al Badia members and guests participated in the Officeland Monthly Open on 5th of November, with all players aiming to grab a ticket for its finale on April 2011. It required a sharp eye for the competition scorers as the place getters of this tournament had the closest battles ever recorded.
Following a 2 player team stableford format, first place was awarded to a team of Al Badia members Brett Armstrong and John Guests who finished with 43 points, after a count back with the team of Tim Swain and Ross Maclean who achieved second place. Randeep Singh and Gurbax Singh secured third place with 43 points.
On-course competition winners played with strong performance with Vivian Verma securing nearest the pin in hole 11, and Rabih Sfeila driving a 292 yards long drive on hole 4.
